Bermuda Mooring
Bermuda Mooring has constantly refined our mooring design. We have studied what works and what can be a failure point. Our proprietary mooring design is simple, efficient and it works.
Having personally experienced extremely powerful hurricanes we take our moorings seriously. Our goal is to make sure that your boat is still attached to your mooring at the end of a storm.
We OVER-BUILD but don't over-bill.

What is Mooring?
A mooring is any permanent structure to which a seaborne vessel (such as a boat, ship, or amphibious aircraft) may be secured. Examples include quays, wharfs, jetties, piers, anchor buoys, and mooring buoys. A ship is secured to a mooring to forestall free movement of the ship on the water. Think of a Mooring as a parking space for a boat. In Bermuda we do not have lots of space on land to store boats and very limited marinas, most boats in Bermuda sit at a Bermuda Government registered permanent Mooring. The mooring consists of a Heavy Weight, Ground Chain, Swivel, Up-Chain, Main Buoy, Bridles & Pick Up Buoy. This design has proven its self in Bermuda.

Mooring Rules

You must think about where you will store your boat when it is not in use if you are preparing to become a first-time boat owner. A mooring is the most cheap solution. It is feasible to lay a fresh mooring. also, you may own or rent a mooring. Bermuda Mooring can assist you in setting up a new mooring or determining the fair market value of an existing mooring for either purchase or rental. Additionally, Bermuda Mooring maintains a sizable database of moorings available for rent and may assist in connecting mooring owners and renters.

Where is Bermuda?
The location of Bermuda, a small group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean at Latitude 32N and Longitude 64W, ensures that we experience extreme weather conditions throughout the year, including high blowing winds.

Since we are in the storm belt, we frequently experience hurricanes. The area of land in Bermuda is quite modest. Due to a shortage of suitable land, the majority of Bermuda's boats are moored in small, safe bays all across the island.
